What do penicillin, the spacecraft Friendship 7, and this cocktail all have in common...?  PYREX!  That's right, the same folks behind Grandma's go-to casserole dish have made revolutionary advancements in cooking and chemistry over the last 100 years.  You may recall from my September feature, that Corning saw superb sales after launching their resilient borosilicate cookware line in 1915.  However, after World War I broke out, suddenly American scientists were cut off from their supply of high-quality German-made flasks and beakers, so Corning decided to add Pyrex laboratory glas...

If you've ever visited my kitchen it's hard to miss the fact that I have a "thing" for orange cookware.  I am not exactly sure what it is, but orange is hands down my power color!  Something about it's fierce boldness, the fact that it's gender neutral, and unabashedly-brazen really just calls to me.  I've also heard that the color orange has a way of stimulating the brain, which increases mental activity and often stirs up a sensation of hunger!  Years ago when my sister-in-law Elena asked me what color Le Creuset cast iron cookware I'd like as a wedding gift, my obvious...

At leas...

Available on Amazon here for only $3.55! Using just blueberries or blackberries as a base color for these popsicles just won't get you that "American flag" look that you are seeking for these fun patriotic pops.  But butterfly pea flower tea does just the trick.  If you can get over the fact that...
